This film is one of the most original comedies of the genre I have ever seen. It was unusual and full of double meaning and random startling moments. It was confusing and fantastic and the unique vision of the director really makes the story shine. It focuses on the Strigoi, a particular folk myth in eastern Europe about witchcraft and vampirism. The movie is a mystery, a puzzle and an intriguing look into the region post-communism. A very perplexing and fascinating film.
