Nosferatu is an upcoming American gothic horror film written and directed by Robert Eggers, and starring Bill Skarsgård as the titular vampire. Following Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979), it is the second remake of the 1922 German Expressionist film of the same name written by Henrik Galeen, which in turn is an "unauthorized and unofficial" adaptation of Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula.

Development on the film began in 2015, following the release of The Witch. Eggers planned to make it his second film, describing it as a passion project, but eventually opted to delay production and go on to direct The Lighthouse and The Northman instead. Frequent collaborator Anya Taylor-Joy and Harry Styles were attached to the project earlier, but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Skarsgård and Lily-Rose Depp were cast as leads in September 2022. Nicholas Hoult joined the cast the following month, with the remaining cast confirmed in early 2023. Filming primarily took place in and around Prague between February and May 2023.

Nosferatu is a co-production of Regency Enterprises, Studio 8, and 1492 Pictures, and is set to be released theatrically by Focus Features.

Después de Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht (1979), es el segundo remake de la película expresionista alemana de 1922 Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens escrita por Henrik Galeen, que a su vez es una adaptación "no autorizada y no oficial" de la novela Drácula de Bram Stoker de 1897.

El desarrollo de la película comenzó en 2015, tras el lanzamiento de The Witch (2015). Eggers planeó convertirla en su segunda película, describiéndola como un proyecto apasionante, pero finalmente optó por retrasar la producción y pasar a dirigir The Lighthouse y The Northman. The Last Voyage of the Demeter (conocida en Hispanoamérica como Drácula: Mar de sangre) es una próxima película estadounidense de terror sobrenatural dirigida por André Øvredal. Es una adaptación del capítulo séptimo de la novela Drácula de Bram Stoker de 1897. La película está protagonizada por Corey Hawkins, Aisling Franciosi, Liam Cunningham y David Dastmalchian y está previsto que se estrene el 11 de agosto de 2023 en Estados Unidos por Universal Pictures.

En el capítulo séptimo de la novela de Bram Stoker, las anotaciones del diario del capitán relatan el viaje de la goleta rusa Deméter desde Carpatia (una localidad ficticia de Rumanía), lugar donde recogen un extraño cargamento privado: veinticuatro extrañas y pesadas cajas de madera que deben entregar en Londres. Al principio, el viaje parece normal, pero las cosas rápidamente toman un giro siniestro. Primero se ve a un hombre extraño a bordo, luego los miembros de la tripulación comienzan a desaparecer. Cuando finalmente el buque llega cerca del puerto inglés de Whitby, estaba totalmente en ruinas y no había rastro de la tripulación.

The Last Voyage of the Demeter is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by André Øvredal and written by Bragi F. Schut^[a] and Zak Olkewicz. It is an adaptation of "The Captain's Log", a chapter from the 1897 Bram Stoker novel Dracula. The film stars Corey Hawkins, Aisling Franciosi, Liam Cunningham, and David Dastmalchian. Its plot follows the doomed crew of the merchant ship Demeter who attempt to survive the treacherous ocean voyage while being stalked by the vampire, known only as Dracula.

Planning for the film adaptation of "The Captain's Log" begin when Schut wrote the initial screenplay, but did not come to fruition by languished in development hell for close to two decades. After Amblin Partners obtaining rights in October 2019, Øvredal was announced to direct the film. The main cast members was confirmed in 2021. Principal photography began on June 30, 2021, in Berlin, before occurring in Malta, and ended on October 1.

The Last Voyage of the Demeter is scheduled to be released in the United States on August 11, 2023, by Universal Pictures.

Sazama y Sharpless habían escrito un guion en noviembre de 2017. Leto y Espinosa se unieron oficialmente en junio de 2018. Morbius is a 2022 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Morbius, the Living Vampire, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel. Distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is the third film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe(SSU). Directed by Daniel Espinosa and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, it stars Jared Leto as Dr. Michael Morbius, alongside Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson. In the film, Morbius becomes a living vampire after curing himself of a rare disease.

After announcing plans for a new shared universe of films inspired by Spider-Mancharacters beginning with Venom (2018), Sony began developing a film based on Morbius. Sazama and Sharpless had written a script by November 2017, and Leto and Espinosa officially joined in June 2018. Work began in earnest at the end of the year with further casting, ahead of production starting in London in February 2019. Filming was confirmed to have been completed by June 2019.

Morbius premiered at the Plaza Carso in Mexico City on March 10, 2022, and was released in the United States on April 1, 2022, after being delayed several times from an initial July 2020 date primarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film received negative reviews from critics, with many calling it uninspired and dated, although Leto and Smith's performances received some praise.

Originally planned to be released theatrically in the United States on October 1, 2021, Sony Pictures Releasing cancelled the film's release plans and sold the film's distribution rights to Amazon Studios for $100 million, due to rising cases of the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant in the United States. The film was released exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on January 14, 2022 and received mixed reviews from critics.
