On October 31st at pre-dawn, just before sunrise, mortal thralls hand-picked four acres of succulent cabernet sauvignon grapes from the vineyard pictured below on Mount Veeder in Napa Valley. The Master Vampire Winemaker reports that the must from these grapes is fermenting nicely, and the vintage will be superb. Soon the Master Vampire Winemaker will instruct his minions to place the wine into new french oak barrels recently shipped over to Napa from France. This wine will be kept in these oak barrels for two years and won't be released until late spring of 2014. We're expecting to yield approximately 240 cases of this Vampire reserve cuvee.
