The Vampire Mistress

English

The debut feature from writer/director Harry Sparks’ Sparks Entertainment, The Vampire Mistress follows the odd adventures of Laura (Dani Daniels), a lesbian reporter who gets sent to write a story on a cult group called “The Vampire Society”—which turns out to be a conclave of lesbian vampires who promptly force her to have sex with them then turn her into one of them.
Not really being down with their human-killing program, though, Laura recruits her girlfriend Zoe (Hayden Winters), after Zoe reminds her that “I’m not just an exotic dancer, I’m studying to be a computer scientist,” to help take down the vamps with satellite imagery and police radio interference and stuff.
Weirdly, every single scene—even the ones taking place in utterly nondescript bedrooms—is shot against a green screen, which makes for a distracting effect. Even more noticeably, dialogue is often hard to hear and improperly synced with the picture … and the script is disjointed at best. But there are a couple of fairly strokable scenes, namely the opener with Daniels and Winters, and one about midway through between Ariana Fox and Brittney Banxxx.
The two-disc set offers some fun extras on the second disc, including a non-sex version of the movie and a flippable “comic book” depicting an illustrated rendition of the story’s climax.
